Camping Anjou
In the heart of the Gers countryside (situated between Toulouse and Bordeaux in SW France), Clemens and Monique van Voorst offer relaxed, rustic retreats where their guests can slip away from their daily lives to become photographers, writers, artists, or maybe just take a walk. The scene is set.
Adults can sit by the pool or on the terrace and sip a glass of the local wine (Côtes de Gascogne) while the children amuse themselves in the playground.
If you are fans of Jazz or Salsa, why not make a booking for the local music festivals which take place a t the end of July and during the first two weeks of August.
Our camp site is a haven of peace and tranquillity nestling into the rolling hills, surrounded by farms and picturesque villages, far from the hustle and bustle of urban living. The air is pure. There are 34 pitches for tents or camping cars and 6 rental properties sited around the swimming pool and the play area suitable for younger children.
Pilgrims following the St James Way to Compostela (Camino de Santiago) are especially welcome and during the period 1 April to 30 September there is free transport between the local village, Montesquiou and the camp site. The pilgrims are provided with accommodation, depending on availability.
Note: following the actual events, all festivals have been cancelled. For yours and our securité the nombre of spots is limited. For our organisation we have to proscreed on groups and pilgrims without own sleepingfacilities. Our sanitary-facilities are regulary cleaned and desinfected.
